The link I got the worksheet from was http://www.commoncoresheets.com/Fractions.php
There were about 14 problems. When doing this worksheet I thought of how fractions consist of two numbers, and have the dash to separate them. So when it came to this, I knew that it was asking to write the shaded amount in word form. So the numerator the top # would be written normally, so take for example the first problem, it is one-half, so the one is written normally, but the denominator the bottom # is written differently. It's written half, and if you take a look at the other problems, they are written the same way. IE: Fifths, Eighths, Fourth, Thirds. I believe because this is pluralizing it. There is also supposed to be a hyphen in between the fraction as a word, when written out. I enjoyed doing this worksheet, and I think next week I will focus on fractions on a number line, because I don't have any experience with that, so it would be great to learn.
